FAQs

Will this help a horse with sweet itch?

Itch Relieve is formulated specifically for horses with reactions to insects. The inclusion of Aloe Vera, antioxidants and anti-inflammatories help regulate overactive immune reactions such as insect hypersensitivity. It also supports gut health which in turn helps with toxin elimination contributing towards reducing skin flare-ups.

When should I start feeding it?

To use this supplement as a preventative, it is ideally fed before the weather becomes warm and damp and the midges become active. For general skin conditions, this can be fed daily as part of an ongoing feeding plan.

Should I split the daily amount over two feeds?

It is recommended that your horse is fed its maintenance amount in one feed – do not split over two feeds. To find out your horse’s daily requirements, see the feeding guidelines.

For loading doses (the first 3-5 days of feeding), feed the required amount twice daily.

I’m not sure my horse will eat it?

Palatability samples are available on our website, so that you can ensure your horse is happy to eat it.

Can I feed this with other supplements?

In short, yes you can! However, do not feed with balancers or hard feed that are high in seaweed or are iodine rich.
