Soft Tissue Support™

(39 customer reviews)

Soft Tissue Support™ helps support the health of tendons and ligaments and recovery from soft tissue injuries. High in natural anti-inflammatories, antioxidants, vitamins and amino acids, this formula supports blood flow, collagen synthesis and management of oxidative stress.

It is formulated with ingredients to help support the production of collagen, the main structural protein in cartilage, ligaments and tendons.

Natural anti-inflammatories can target inflammatory pathways and oxidative stress during periods of rehab and box rest and after exercise.

Nutritional Info

Vitamin C (Ascorbic Acid)

Vitamin C helps regulate inflammatory cytokines and enzymes that break down cartilage. It is also vital in the production of Collagen, the main structural protein in cartilage, ligaments and tendons. It is a powerful antioxidant, neutralising free radicals which can damage cartilage, synovial fluid and joint tissues.

L-Proline

L-Proline is a non essential amino acid which plays a crucial role in Collagen production, the main structural protein in tendons & ligaments. L-Proline can also help in rebuilding damaged tissues, and supports the bodys antioxidant defence, helping to protect tissues from oxidative stress.

Cinnamon

Cinnamon is rich in antioxidants, which can help neutralize free radicals produced during exercise or injury. Cinnamon contains the compounds polyphenols, which have natural anti-inflammatory effects.

L-Arginine

L-Arginine is converted in the body into nitric oxide. Nitric oxide causes blood vessels to open wider for improved blood flow. Better circulation means more oxygen and nutrients can reach injured tissues. As a building block for protein and collagen, L-Arginine can help support muscle, tendon, ligament, and skin repair.

Turmeric

The active compound in turmeric is Curcumin and is a powerful natural anti-inflammatory compound. The antioxidant properties can help neutralize free radicals and manage oxidative stress.

Zinc Sulphate

Zinc Sulphate supports the development and function of white blood cells to help immune function and is crucial for tissue repair.

FAQs

What are the signs of soft tissue damage?

While lameness may not always be present, there can be other signs that can indicate soft tissue damage including heat and swelling in the leg or your horse being reactive when touching this area.

How long should my horse stay on Soft Tissue Support™?

If your horse is recovering from a soft tissue injury, Soft Tissue Support™ can be fed throughout their rehabilitation and is safe to feed ongoing when they are back to their normal routine. Some owners feed their horses Soft Tissue Support™ as a preventative measure, especially during competition seasons when the ground is firmer and the tendons & ligaments may need more support.

What’s the difference between Supple Xtra™, Soft Tissue Support™ and Bute-EZ?

Supple Xtra™ is fed to maintain healthy joints.

Soft Tissue Support™ is used to support the health of tendons & ligaments and for the recovery of soft tissue injuries.

Bute-EZ™ is a natural anti-inflammatory for horses who require ongoing support, those on box rest or the veteran horse to help maintain ease of movement.

Should I split the daily amount over two feeds?

It is recommended that your horse is fed its maintenance amount in one feed – do not split over two feeds. To find out your horse’s daily requirements, see the feeding guidelines.

For loading doses (the first 3-5 days of feeding), feed the required amount twice daily.

I’m not sure my horse will eat it?

Palatability samples are available on our website, so that you can ensure your horse is happy to eat it.

    Great stuff

Took a few weeks to see the difference, but then it was astounding. Large surgical wounds from 2 months ago finally started healing. Had to buy a second bag to maintain improvement. Well impressed

  2. Emily Nye

    Great

I’m using this at the moment for an injury my horse sustained in the field, so far happy with the healing process and the team at equine exceed were very helpful with suggestions!

    Ginger Calmer bites

All Equine Exceed appears to be very palatable! They took the edge of our TB while getting her use to Winter Turnout.

    Lamni health

Brilliant product. Very palatable for a fussy eater. Pony is definitely less footy and we seem to have caught a potential laminitis episode before it developed too much. Great customer service and knowledgeable team thank you equine exceed

    Wouldn’t be without it!

Purchased in December 2024 after young horse very mildly pulled a tendon, no hole or tear just a slight pull. Due to his age and antics we decided to rehab as hard as we could and box rested due to the mud! Vet re scanned after 3 weeks of being on rest and this, told me we wouldn’t see much difference but was shocked to see it had already began to look normal again! Fast forward a few weeks (several times getting loose and galloping around the ménage, one time getting loose down the drive, one broken bon (mine luckily)!) and he was cleared to come back into work. Has done a normal season of work, granted short and sweet due to only being a baby but we wouldn’t be without this supplement now and feed it daily to hopefully prevent any further issues!

So pleased how our pony is since having Lami-Health

Since our Dartmoor pony has been on Lami-health she has been so much better, she hasn’t had laminitis for a few years but she’s definitely not as footy and she’s looking so well.

  8. Maddy Watkins

  9. vix

Only been using this a few weeks now but so far so good, he seems good and hoping with the spring grass, this will help towards the risks of laminitis

    A tricky case

I have a mare who got laminitis so bad in one foot, the vet at one point came to put her down! There was so much trauma to her foot, it still hasn’t totally recovered 26 months on! She must NEVER get it again. I had to find a product which will help her and Lami Health seems like the ideal one to really do that. It smells divine and she loves it. Coming into spring is always a worrying time, but I have faith in this product.
