Vitamin E (DL-a-Tocopheryl Acetate 700iu)
Vitamin E is a powerful antioxidant, that plays a critical role in protecting the horse from everyday oxidative stress which is particuraly relevant for high performance horses. Vitamin E is an important nutrient that supports muscle health and protects cell membranes. In addition, it is an ‘essential vitamin’ (meaning your horse cannot synthesise it and it must be provided in the diet).
Peppermint Oil
Peppermint oil is used in our Cool Bites™ to give them their tasty flavour, while supporting the digestive & respiratory system.
Flax Seed Powder
Flax Seed is rich in soluble fibre, particularly mucilage which forms a gel like coating when mixed with digestive fluids acting as a barrier against stomach acid. Flax is one of the best plant sources of alpha-linolenic acid (ALA), an omega-3 fatty acid which can support the health of the brain and nervous system.

My highland pony was a restart at 11yrs old she was on edge at times spooking , reluctant to work and very anxious . I started her on gastric supplement and added the calmer then added sensitivemare as she was difficult when in season . I use cookies for showing and travelling and I have a different horse this year . She is concentrating, listening and overall more relaxed in the show ground .

I use the cool bites on my Highland. He finds indoor arena trec a little too exciting for my liking, and these certainly take the edge off. He is usually in the ribbons every time out. The one occasion when I didn’t use them, we had full on Highland fling, scored a lot of zeros and were unplaced. I also used them when he hadn’t been ridden for 2 weeks due to the weather, and they certainly made for a less eventful hack after an extended break.
We also use calmer Pro daily on our Section D over the winter months. Unfortunately he wont touch the cool bites. He is so much more chilled this winter.
I highly recommend both these products.
