Vitamin C (Ascorbic Acid)
Vitamin C is key for immune health and is an antioxidant, helping protect the brain and nervous system from oxidative damage. Vitamin C is also involved in the synthesis of Dopamine and Norepinephrine, brain chemicals that influence mood and behaviour.
Peppermint Leaf Powder
Peppermint encourages fussy horses to eat, and contains menthol, which can help to soothe the digestive tract, reduce gas, and provide support for horses suffering with digestive issues which can lead to behavioural issues.
Flax
Flax Seed is rich in soluble fibre, particularly mucilage which forms a gel like coating when mixed with digestive fluids acting as a barrier against stomach acid. Flax is one of the best plant sources of alpha-linolenic acid (ALA), an omega-3 fatty acid which can support the health of the brain and nervous system.

Every ride became a better ride
I purchased a talented horse last year who was extremely nervous both on the ground and ridden. Having had such success with the calmer bites I felt that this daily supplement would be the answer to my prayers- and I wasn’t wrong! A few rides later I was feeling the difference right from the moment I got on and it wasn’t long before others around me started noticing a difference too. I can't live without Calmer Pro.
I am a massive fan of Equine Exceed’s Calmer Bites. They are so effective with my dressage horse ‘Lookie’ and he works so much better with them that I decided to start using Calmer Pro. The main reasons are that I would like him to be relaxed pretty much everytime I ride him plus I’m scared to death of forgetting to give him a bite before a show!! WOW, what a difference! After a week of having a scoop of Calmer Pro in his tea, ‘Lookie was a different horse when I took him out competing on Saturday. He didn’t bat an eyelid at anything and was so ‘ride-able’. We had a great day with some fantastic results, the difference in him was amazing. The bites are excellent but the Pro is like a miracle cure, I can’t express how good it is. I can’t wait for the rest of the season, if ‘Lookie’ performs as well as he did Saturday, I’m expecting great things from him.

Great everyday calmer
I love these for my spooky mare – it works like the calmer / cool bites.
This helps her as an everyday calmer that can help when we go competing and they help her relax and concentrate on my and be less distracted by scary things and acts as a good all round everyday solution to reduce her stress

Calmer Pro
I had a mare with grade 3 ulcers which I fed this too whilst she was on box rest as she is very highly bred. This settled her 100% and allowed her body to repair itself over the box rest period. I don’t find it traceable in the feed so for the fussiest of eaters wouldn’t even know. 100% works. Does what it says on the tin.
