Vitamin C (Ascorbic Acid)
Vitamin C is key for immune health and is an antioxidant, helping protect the brain and nervous system from oxidative damage. Vitamin C is also involved in the synthesis of Dopamine and Norepinephrine, brain chemicals that influence mood and behaviour.
Peppermint Leaf Powder
Peppermint encourages fussy horses to eat, and contains menthol, which can help to soothe the digestive tract, reduce gas, and provide support for horses suffering with digestive issues which can lead to behavioural issues.
Flax
Flax Seed is rich in soluble fibre, particularly mucilage which forms a gel like coating when mixed with digestive fluids acting as a barrier against stomach acid. Flax is one of the best plant sources of alpha-linolenic acid (ALA), an omega-3 fatty acid which can support the health of the brain and nervous system.

I use this for my 5yr old TB as a daily calmer in winter and it definitely takes the edge off. A lot calmer, more focused and a lot more manageable. I also use the calming cookies for hacking which are also great and definitely work for mine.

My boy is always spooky to ride over the winter/spring months. I’ve tried several calming supplements, but this is by far the best & it’s not the most expensive to feed daily. I thought I’d give Calmer Pro a go and I’m so glad I did. Not only did it start working after a week. Now my lad is less spooky and he is far more relaxed in his work and really wants to stretch over his back. Other people have noticed too that he’s more relaxed to hack out with.

I was recommended this product that had apparently calmed down another mare on our yard.

We have a sharp eventer that can be unpredictable. Since being on calmer pro, he has been so much more rideable both at home and competitions. His whole head is more sensible and his unpredictability has gone. Highly recommended!
