Packed with key ingredients that support gut health including Inulin, Papaya, Aloe Vera and L-Arginine, which utilises Nitric Oxide pathway precursors, helping to deliver nutrients to the entire gastric system, supporting gut mobility.
Ideal for horses showing symptoms of gastric discomfort, changes in behaviour, grass, routine and turnout and horses that travel and compete.
Can be used for part of a short or long-term feeding plan or used as and when required during times of stress or changes.
Inulin
Inulin is used to support a healthy gut by selectively encouraging certain beneficial bacteria like Lactobacillus and Bifidobacterium to proliferate in the horse’s hindgut. This, in turn, can improve fibre metabolisation, nutrient absorption, and overall digestive health.
Papaya
Papaya, particularly the papain enzyme found within it, is used to support digestion and gastric health. It can help the process of protein breakdown, nutrient absorption, and stimulate salivation, which can benefit horses with digestive issues.
Aloe Vera
Helps soothe the digestive tract and is beneficial for protecting the sensitive lining of the stomach.
L-Arginine
An amino acid, converted in the body into Nitric Oxide(NO), helping to deliver nutrients to the entire gastric system.
Beta-Alanine
Beta-Alanine works in the body by producing ‘Carnosine’. This supports the horse’s ability to absorb acidification.

Equine Exceed Gastro Step 1
I had been recommended this product and so spoke to Zoe who was very helpful and knowledgeable. I started my horse on it a week before he was to have some treatment on his legs and was going to be on box rest which he really hates and gets very stressed. He is doing well.

My horse has Free Faecal Water Syndrome and always ha a messy bum, legs and tail. I got sick of washing it and so did she. I have tried many supplements al to no avail. I was desperate. I also have another horse with weaving issues. I typed in to the search “trainers for weaving issues in horses” and the first ting that came up was a link to Equine Exceed. I am so glad it did. I contacted Debbie and she was amazing, I did ring her rather a lot but she was amazing with me. My horse went on Gastro 1 and within 1 treatment you could see the difference. Now my mare is on it and within 2 treatments I feel that I can now wash her tail a and it will stay clean 🙂 her temperament is changing and she is happier for me to pick out her front feet again. Brilliant results
My super event currently at intermediate level is always very grumpy / defensive attitude in the stable since he was 2yrs (now 10yr). Always willing while being ridden and worked. I’ve tried many products on the shelf and this product is simple the best. Ran out in the summer and you could definitely tell within a few weeks his negative behaviour in the stable came back.
