Packed with key ingredients that support gut health including Inulin, Papaya, Aloe Vera and L-Arginine, which utilises Nitric Oxide pathway precursors, helping to deliver nutrients to the entire gastric system, supporting gut mobility.
Ideal for horses showing symptoms of gastric discomfort, changes in behaviour, grass, routine and turnout and horses that travel and compete.
Can be used for part of a short or long-term feeding plan or used as and when required during times of stress or changes.
Inulin
Inulin is used to support a healthy gut by selectively encouraging certain beneficial bacteria like Lactobacillus and Bifidobacterium to proliferate in the horse’s hindgut. This, in turn, can improve fibre metabolisation, nutrient absorption, and overall digestive health.
Papaya
Papaya, particularly the papain enzyme found within it, is used to support digestion and gastric health. It can help the process of protein breakdown, nutrient absorption, and stimulate salivation, which can benefit horses with digestive issues.
Aloe Vera
Helps soothe the digestive tract and is beneficial for protecting the sensitive lining of the stomach.
L-Arginine
An amino acid, converted in the body into Nitric Oxide(NO), helping to deliver nutrients to the entire gastric system.
Beta-Alanine
Beta-Alanine works in the body by producing ‘Carnosine’. This supports the horse’s ability to absorb acidification.

Putting my anxious mare onto Calmer Pro has made a huge difference to handling her daily in a home environment.

Gastro Pro is the answer for my horse!
My young mare started getting a bit stuffy and hesitant to go forward. Nothing major but enough to notice. I put her on Gastro Pro after a long conversation with Deborah and within days, she was back to her normal self! I cannot recommend this product enough. Star is a real stress head, I would never can chair him in the warmup before showjumping or dressage as I would probably end up sitting on my bottom. After putting him on this product he’s like a different horse he’s absolutely amazing it’s worth every penny

After being recommended by an owner of a racing yard, I was skeptical about trying Equine exceed gastro step 1. I had spent so much money on other supplements that didn’t work, even after veterinary treatment with grade 3 ulcers, I never saw a change in my mares behaviour. After 2 weeks of feeding gastro step 1, I have started to see difference in my mare, she’s more willing to go forward and less nappy in ridden. It’s the only product I’ve seen a change in my mares behaviour! I will be buying more, highly recommend!

Equine Exceed Gastro step 1
My horse Alfie has become erratic, spooking and not wanting to work. Biting on doing up his girth and being very moody. I was at my wits end and was recommended to try Equine exceed Gastro.. After great advise from Debbie I started Alfie on it. He has been on it a month now and I have noticed a much happier horse. He is happier to work and this week I have established a canter change! He is eating more hay and drinking more water and no more trying to bite when doing up his girth up! I am delighted to have my horse back… I am now going on to Equine Exceed Step 2
