Packed with key ingredients that support gut health including Inulin, Papaya, Aloe Vera and L-Arginine, which utilises Nitric Oxide pathway precursors, helping to deliver nutrients to the entire gastric system, supporting gut mobility.
Ideal for horses showing symptoms of gastric discomfort, changes in behaviour, grass, routine and turnout and horses that travel and compete.
Can be used for part of a short or long-term feeding plan or used as and when required during times of stress or changes.
Inulin
Inulin is used to support a healthy gut by selectively encouraging certain beneficial bacteria like Lactobacillus and Bifidobacterium to proliferate in the horse’s hindgut. This, in turn, can improve fibre metabolisation, nutrient absorption, and overall digestive health.
Papaya
Papaya, particularly the papain enzyme found within it, is used to support digestion and gastric health. It can help the process of protein breakdown, nutrient absorption, and stimulate salivation, which can benefit horses with digestive issues.
Aloe Vera
Helps soothe the digestive tract and is beneficial for protecting the sensitive lining of the stomach.
L-Arginine
An amino acid, converted in the body into Nitric Oxide(NO), helping to deliver nutrients to the entire gastric system.
Beta-Alanine
Beta-Alanine works in the body by producing ‘Carnosine’. This supports the horse’s ability to absorb acidification.

It works!!!!!
I came across this product quite some years ago. I had a horse with grade 4 ulcers, despite being on double doses of peptizole for months 3 scopes later we still had ulcers! So I tried this, well for us it was like a ‘light switch’ moment! Immediately he was a different horse and it finally gave us a clear scope! Sadly we lost this horse, but I have used it on other horses when they’ve shown ulcer type signs. Debbie has always been so very helpful and I would never used anything else.

When my KWPN dressage horse became a little more spooky than usual, I thought I would try him on the calming product. When I spoke with Debbie she recommended I try him on the Gastro step 1 product first. So taking her advice I did. Well I was amazed at the noticeable difference in 2 days, my horse had lost the bloated look he has had recently and he became much more relaxed, no spooks and just a much more relaxed and happy horse. I have used many different gut products over the years and I can honestly say I have never really noticed a difference. I am seriously impressed and will continue to use this product. As yet I haven’t opened the calmer😊

Just Amazing !
I have an ex-racer and on a good day you could just about to get him to put one foot in front of the other under saddle, he had problems with his SI joints, back and neck which I was working with my Osteo and I’m also a sports and remedial massage therapist, After the 1st douse of the Gastro I could see a difference in his body shape, I gave him 4 days off to let the gastro do it’s job. On day 5 I tacked him up got on and off we went no issues what so ever! My Osteo was out to see him 3 wks into using Gastro, and there was nothing wrong with him – all of the issues in the neck, back and SI joint have completely sorted themselves out, and the movement and freedom in his back is just ridiculous now 😁
I would give 1000* rating and so would my horse.

I have used Gastro on both my daughters ponies. One which had been treated for Ulcers and I just wanted something to continue to protect his gut. This has been a fantastic product for him and he has not shown signs of any discomfort and it settles his tummy before any travelling or competition too.
I then bought a second pony who was quite anxious and had quite runny poos, again, started him on Gastro and this has made a huge difference. Calmed him down and settled his tummy.
I wouldn’t use anything else!

I rang Debbie from equine exceed when I was struggling to maintain weight on my mare through the competition season. Competing in a mixture of both British dressage and also eventing was proving to much for her in terms of coping with the stress of travelling and the general competition environment. Debbie was so kind, helpful and extremely knowledgeable and was very confident with some help from there products that my mare could stay in top form in her performance and weight . Since then I have started on the gastro step 1 and have had incredible results. my mare is now maintaining condition and performing very well at competitions and is remaining stress free and has managed a full season of successful competing since being on this amazing product! Highly effective product
My ex- racer has been using the Equine Exceed gastro products for about a year now and is incredibly well for it.
