An essential amino acid involved in protein synthesis and mucin production. Mucin forms part of the protective mucus layer lining the gastrointestinal tract.

Earlier this year my horse started getting progressively worse in his jumping. From bronching, bunny hopping, throwing his head down, stopping and not going forward. We started by changing tack, and removing 2 beans from his willy. This helped with a few of his symptoms but he was still tight and not going forward, regularly stopping. It was like riding a pogo stick.
After speaking with others, we thought it could be ulcers. I was recommended Equine Exceed.
After a phone long phone call discussion we decided to try him on Gastro step 1. He has been on it for 6 weeks and given time off from jumping to let work.
Last week I took him to the ROR champs and he was a different horse. Ears pricked taking me to the fences. Flying round the 90cm. A much happier horse, and we are looking forward to the rest of the year.

Changed horse!
I’ve known about this product for quite a while but only recently decided to try it. For years, my horse has had on and off issues with unpredictable spooking, with no clear trigger. He was scoped a couple of years ago and showed mild signs of ulcers, so we decided to give this supplement a try and wow, what a difference.
Within weeks, he was noticeably calmer and more relaxed. Riding has become enjoyable again without constant spooking, and, more importantly, he seems much more comfortable overall. He’s also showing more consistency in his competing. Looking back, it’s clear he must have been dealing with some level of discomfort, and I’m just so pleased we’ve found something that’s helped.

Pony with history of ulcers
My pony is happily back in work after 3 years off due to dangerous behaviour when suffering from gastric ulcers. She’s now been back in ridden work for 9 months using this supplement and careful groundwork. Did step down to step 2 for a month after 6 months of step 1 but she seemed more tense especially around the mounting block so stepped back up to step 1 and will probably continue with it indefinitely.

Love this product
I started using this product earlier this year with my tense, stressy mare, and the results have been incredible. In the spring, we were struggling to get round a 90cm track, but by the end of the year she has achieved four double clears in Newcomers (1.10m), securing qualification for the second rounds next year. She is now confidently jumping 1.15m courses.
