Packed with key ingredients that support gut health including Inulin, Papaya, Aloe Vera and L-Arginine, which utilises Nitric Oxide pathway precursors, helping to deliver nutrients to the entire gastric system, supporting gut mobility.
Ideal for horses showing symptoms of gastric discomfort, changes in behaviour, grass, routine and turnout and horses that travel and compete.
Can be used for part of a short or long-term feeding plan or used as and when required during times of stress or changes.
Inulin
Inulin is used to support a healthy gut by selectively encouraging certain beneficial bacteria like Lactobacillus and Bifidobacterium to proliferate in the horse’s hindgut. This, in turn, can improve fibre metabolisation, nutrient absorption, and overall digestive health.
Papaya
Papaya, particularly the papain enzyme found within it, is used to support digestion and gastric health. It can help the process of protein breakdown, nutrient absorption, and stimulate salivation, which can benefit horses with digestive issues.
Aloe Vera
Helps soothe the digestive tract and is beneficial for protecting the sensitive lining of the stomach.
L-Arginine
An amino acid, converted in the body into Nitric Oxide(NO), helping to deliver nutrients to the entire gastric system.
Beta-Alanine
Beta-Alanine works in the body by producing ‘Carnosine’. This supports the horse’s ability to absorb acidification.

I have used step 1 on our gelding since we brought him – really helped with making sure he settled in new surroundings- we then moved onto step 2 but noticed he had changed a little ( bit stressed when travelling and sloppy poos/ swishy tail) so spoke to the office and they said go back to step 1 and he’s back to himself now – the service and products are amazing 🤩

Amazing Product
My horse, who has suffered from gastric ulcers in the past, is currently on box rest, Bute and antibiotics. This is a recipe for them to reoccur, and I was so worried about them returning. But he has been on this supplement, and he is still a happy boy, so it has worked in preventing them from returning! Thank you!!

Im not stopping it now
With a sudden change in behaviour, bucking, rearing , refusing to walk forward when mounted… my gelding was scoped and diagnosed with severe pyloric ulcers. He had 4 weeks of veterinary treatment which didnt make a difference to his behaviour at all..however we did move yards and he was introducedto a new herd over that 4 week period of starting treatement. All to support reasons why he developed ulcers in the first place. After 2 weeks on step 1 I was expecting a huge change after reading the reviews but there wasnt . I was really dishearten, however, his ulcers were severe…. All horses are different and will react/heal at different speeds….i kept on with step 1 and been on step one for 6 weeks and there is definitely a difference in his behaviour on the ground . I havent tried to get on again yet. Absolute superb advice and support from Deborah too. Well recommended by many friend and also professionals

Equine Exceed Step 1 – The best
Works really quickly and effectively. I use this for ocasions when my boy is struggling with changes in the grass, which has been all summer this year! Great stuff. Wouldn’t use anything else.
