Vitamin C (Ascorbic Acid)
Vitamin C is key for immune health and is an antioxidant, helping protect the brain and nervous system from oxidative damage. Vitamin C is also involved in the synthesis of Dopamine and Norepinephrine, brain chemicals that influence mood and behaviour.
Peppermint Leaf Powder
Peppermint encourages fussy horses to eat, and contains menthol, which can help to soothe the digestive tract, reduce gas, and provide support for horses suffering with digestive issues which can lead to behavioural issues.
Flax
Flax Seed is rich in soluble fibre, particularly mucilage which forms a gel like coating when mixed with digestive fluids acting as a barrier against stomach acid. Flax is one of the best plant sources of alpha-linolenic acid (ALA), an omega-3 fatty acid which can support the health of the brain and nervous system.

Our pony was a bit anxious when being ridden. We had tried another well known brand to no avail. A friend recommended equineexcceed as they used their calming cookies. I was a bit sceptical after trying the previous brand but have to say I was quickly proven wrong.
