Packed with key ingredients that support gut health including Inulin, Papaya, Aloe Vera and L-Arginine, which utilises Nitric Oxide pathway precursors, helping to deliver nutrients to the entire gastric system, supporting gut mobility.
Ideal for horses showing symptoms of gastric discomfort, changes in behaviour, grass, routine and turnout and horses that travel and compete.
Can be used for part of a short or long-term feeding plan or used as and when required during times of stress or changes.
Inulin
Inulin is used to support a healthy gut by selectively encouraging certain beneficial bacteria like Lactobacillus and Bifidobacterium to proliferate in the horse’s hindgut. This, in turn, can improve fibre metabolisation, nutrient absorption, and overall digestive health.
Papaya
Papaya, particularly the papain enzyme found within it, is used to support digestion and gastric health. It can help the process of protein breakdown, nutrient absorption, and stimulate salivation, which can benefit horses with digestive issues.
Aloe Vera
Helps soothe the digestive tract and is beneficial for protecting the sensitive lining of the stomach.
L-Arginine
An amino acid, converted in the body into Nitric Oxide(NO), helping to deliver nutrients to the entire gastric system.
Beta-Alanine
Beta-Alanine works in the body by producing ‘Carnosine’. This supports the horse’s ability to absorb acidification.

Gastro Step 1 Thunder
I bought Gastro step 1 as recommended by a friend who has had huge success with her pony. It was my last hope literally… I sold my baby Thunder in Aug 23 and bought him back as the buyer said she didn’t have time to finish his education he was 5 going on 6 and the most loving bombproof chilled pony ever I had him since he was a wild weanling so knew my pony inside out and when I bought him back in June 24 he came of the transporter half dead he was crippled. He had two foot abscesses one in each of the front hoofs his back was out and a tilted pelvis and was a total nervous wreck I could catch him in the field, the slightest noise he would jump out his skin and even in the stable he would hide in the corner at the back iv spent months rehabilitating him and he has came on leaps and bounds but his behaviour is still unpredictable due to fear of the unknown but he’s been on Gastro step 1 now and iv seen a huge improvement in his behaviour positive improvements he’s not jumpy or spooked by everything much more chilled and I see my old Thunder shining through so he will be on it for as long as he needs it to help him get back to his loving bold cute self x

Never want to run out!!
Before I started feeding Gastro step 1 along with Calmer Pro my dressage horse was very spooky at home and at shows. The transformation in my horses concentration has been amazing.
We have just come back from the Winter championships. Our first test was in 44mph winds where he came 6th out of 32 in the medium silver petplan 🥰 not one spook in the arena as he was focused and listening to me 😁😁

Amazing results!
My TB was showing signs of discomfort, didn’t feel himself to ride and became really grumpy in the stable. Within 5/6 days of being on Gastro step 1 I noticed him start to return to himself. He looks better than ever and is a lot happier- I cannot rate this product enough as I have tried various different gut supplements and never seen such an improvement.

I have been using Equine exceed Gastro on a number of horses jumping international at high level.
Recently my vet performed a gastroscope check up on 4 horses, all who had been on tour for 3 continuous weeks jumping, followed by a long 3 days travel home.
