Soft Tissue Support™

(39 customer reviews)

Soft Tissue Support™ helps support the health of tendons and ligaments and recovery from soft tissue injuries. High in natural anti-inflammatories, antioxidants, vitamins and amino acids, this formula supports blood flow, collagen synthesis and management of oxidative stress.

It is formulated with ingredients to help support the production of collagen, the main structural protein in cartilage, ligaments and tendons.

Natural anti-inflammatories can target inflammatory pathways and oxidative stress during periods of rehab and box rest and after exercise.

Nutritional Info

Vitamin C (Ascorbic Acid)

Vitamin C helps regulate inflammatory cytokines and enzymes that break down cartilage. It is also vital in the production of Collagen, the main structural protein in cartilage, ligaments and tendons. It is a powerful antioxidant, neutralising free radicals which can damage cartilage, synovial fluid and joint tissues.

L-Proline

L-Proline is a non essential amino acid which plays a crucial role in Collagen production, the main structural protein in tendons & ligaments. L-Proline can also help in rebuilding damaged tissues, and supports the bodys antioxidant defence, helping to protect tissues from oxidative stress.

Cinnamon

Cinnamon is rich in antioxidants, which can help neutralize free radicals produced during exercise or injury. Cinnamon contains the compounds polyphenols, which have natural anti-inflammatory effects.

L-Arginine

L-Arginine is converted in the body into nitric oxide. Nitric oxide causes blood vessels to open wider for improved blood flow. Better circulation means more oxygen and nutrients can reach injured tissues. As a building block for protein and collagen, L-Arginine can help support muscle, tendon, ligament, and skin repair.

Turmeric

The active compound in turmeric is Curcumin and is a powerful natural anti-inflammatory compound. The antioxidant properties can help neutralize free radicals and manage oxidative stress.

Zinc Sulphate

Zinc Sulphate supports the development and function of white blood cells to help immune function and is crucial for tissue repair.

FAQs

What are the signs of soft tissue damage?

While lameness may not always be present, there can be other signs that can indicate soft tissue damage including heat and swelling in the leg or your horse being reactive when touching this area.

How long should my horse stay on Soft Tissue Support™?

If your horse is recovering from a soft tissue injury, Soft Tissue Support™ can be fed throughout their rehabilitation and is safe to feed ongoing when they are back to their normal routine. Some owners feed their horses Soft Tissue Support™ as a preventative measure, especially during competition seasons when the ground is firmer and the tendons & ligaments may need more support.

What’s the difference between Supple Xtra™, Soft Tissue Support™ and Bute-EZ?

Supple Xtra™ is fed to maintain healthy joints.

Soft Tissue Support™ is used to support the health of tendons & ligaments and for the recovery of soft tissue injuries.

Bute-EZ™ is a natural anti-inflammatory for horses who require ongoing support, those on box rest or the veteran horse to help maintain ease of movement.

Should I split the daily amount over two feeds?

It is recommended that your horse is fed its maintenance amount in one feed – do not split over two feeds. To find out your horse’s daily requirements, see the feeding guidelines.

For loading doses (the first 3-5 days of feeding), feed the required amount twice daily.

I’m not sure my horse will eat it?

Palatability samples are available on our website, so that you can ensure your horse is happy to eat it.

Helped fix a hole in a collateral ligament!

My mare had a hole in her collateral ligament under Debbie’s advice I fed her the soft tissue support for 4 months after diagnosis. She has come back brilliantly and have even just started doing small jumps again! This has played a massive part in repairing it from the inside out! So pleased as wasn’t even sure she would come sound enough to ride again. Thank you!

    Calming Bites

My horse can become very jumpy as spirng arrives. She is so much calmer and chilled out after using this product. Wouldn’t buy from anywhere else. Brilliant product.

  3. Jasmine Mumford

    Best on the market!

My boys both love the flavoured calmer bites. They are a great product to use when loading, clipping or riding. I can’t wait to try more flavours!

  4. Joanna

    Super product

I reserved judgement on calmer bites and calmer pro until I actually went to a competition – wow what a difference! My usually tense, over excited pony was calm and focused – these products have really made a difference to us!

  5. Julia

    Amazed!!

My boy has recently injured himself and is recovering from some muscle tearing in a couple of places, as well as some stiffness in other areas and also slight arthritis in his SI joint.
Since starting him on this product to aid him and give him a boost during his recovery he has been much more willing with his stretching joint mobilisation exercises in only a week! The double daily dose loading has really got this into his system and working so quickly – to see that it’s helped make him more comfortable so quickly really has been amazing! Thank you to Debbie for really trying to understand exactly what our situation was to be able to help and recommend the right programme for us. we are very grateful!

    Outstanding

I have an Oldenburg mare who has had several ligament and soft tissue problems since she was 4 years old. Finally at 10 years old and with the help of equine exceed soft tissue support she is finding all her work easier. I suggest this product to anyone who has a horse who “just does not feel right” after veterinary advice has been sought and no conclusive problem found try this product. It has help me, I now have a lovely mare willing and happy to work with me.

This amazing product helped my horse recover from an episode of laminitis after having steroid injections…. He suffers badly with ulcers and doesn’t tolerate Bute well at all … Nitrox Pro enabled him to come off the Bute and within a few days the pulses and foot sensitivity had gone ….
Thank you Equine Exceed for another amazing product!

    ON TOP OF THE WORLD!

Back last year my top competition horse sustained a possible career ending injury to her collateral ligament. The prognosis of her coming back to advanced level work was bleak. I was advised to use this supplement to aid collagen production for soft tissue healing. The results have been amazing and have astonished myself and my vet! 8.5 months on post injury we are back in canter work with a review in 6 weeks time to see if we can start to introduce advanced training again! Last year my heart was shattered into a million pieces, hearing my one and only horse may not be my dancing partner again, it’s been a long road to recovery but I honestly believe without the support of Equine Exceed Soft Tissue Support, we wouldn’t be where we are today! Thank you equine exceed.
